Jon Garrow

Jon Garrow works at the intersection of data engineering and fundraising strategy — a combination rare enough that he’s spent most of his career building the role rather than finding it.

He currently leads advancement data and analytics at Lutheran Community Services Northwest, where his team manages KPI reporting, CRM infrastructure, and data governance for a growing fundraising program. Previously he directed prospect development programs at Willamette University and Montefiore/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he rebuilt the grateful patient pipeline integrating millions of records across multiple Epic systems.

Jon serves on the board of Apra International and holds a Master of Arts in Philanthropy Studies from the Indiana University Lilly School. He is completing a Master of Science in Data Science at Willamette University in August 2026.

He writes and speaks on data governance, analytics infrastructure, and the use of machine learning in advancement.
